About Our Fraternity
Delta Lambda Phi International Social Fraternity
Since 1986, Delta Lambda Phi has been providing all men the opportunity to go Greek and be a part of something larger than themselves, regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life among all men by providing dignified and purposeful social, service and recreational activities. Through our social events, conferences and leadership development programs, we strive to empower all of our members to make their presence make a difference.
Beta Lambda Chapter at Iowa State University
Founded in 2004, the Beta Lambda Chapter has been leading the way in creating an open and accepting community for all minority people at Iowa State University. We are part of the Multicultural Greek Council, which is comprised of culturally-based organizations. Together, we work to raise awareness of minority issues on campus and create a more welcoming environment at Iowa State. Our chapter looks for men who are passionate about creating real change and building bonds with people from all walks of life.
Delta Lambda Phi is a values-based organization and look for men who embody our seven values: Excellence, Integrity, Diversity, Justice, Service, Friendship and Commitment.
Delta Lambda Phi makes a positive and lasting difference in the lives of our Brothers and our community. Our commitment to social justice, friendship, and personal growth is reflected through making our presence make a difference. Our Brotherhood is committed to friendship with all and we welcome those who aspire to share our vision. To realize our vision, members of Delta Lambda Phi adhere to these principles:
To develop dignified and purposeful, social, service, and recreational activities for all men, irrespective of sexual orientation or gender expression.
To lead in determining the rights and privileges of individuals in society.
To promote a strong and positive image, which respects the diversity of all individuals.
