Delta Lambda Phi, Beta Sigma Chapter – AIDS Walk New York 2015!

We’re joining the AIDS Walk this year in NYC!

As a queer and trans fraternity, we realize that our members are historically linked to a key population that has been impacted by discrimination and barred access to resources because of HIV status. We believe it is our duty to take steps that will end stigma, provide care, and raise awareness so that people who are affected by HIV and AIDS can take charge of their lives.

This even benefits GMHC, the world’s first and leading provider of HIV and AIDS prevention, care, and advocacy, as well as more than 40 AIDS service organizations throughout the tri-state area through the Community Partnership Program. Support us by registering or donating to the 30th annual AIDS Walk New York. We appreciate all the support we can get!

If you would like to join and physically walk with us, contact brother Abraham Linares and stay tuned for further info!

Massive Updating!

Hey, guys–we’re finally updating our website after such a long time!

We’re changing up a lot of things on here, from the layout to the bios to the FAQs! That doesn’t mean we’ve had no online presence though–we’re very active on our Facebook page and our Instagram account, and we’re frequently posting events and pictures. So while we’re rebuilding the website, make sure to like us and follow us to get updates on our how Rutgers Chapter is growing and making its presence known in New Brunswick!

When we finish the website completely, we will most definitely post it for everyone to see!

Stay Rad,

- Abe L., Brotherhood Director

New York City AIDS walk 2010

On May 16th 12 of us Rutgers Lambda men set out to do the annual New York City AIDS walk. We met up with some brothers from the Beta Xi chapter, and together we tackled the 10 kilometer journey. As of now Delta Lambda Phi Rutgers Colony has raised $2093, and the Beta Xi chapter has raised $1555. A total sum of $3648. We sure did make our presence known. Thank you to all who donated, and everyone who walked as well. Here are some photos Christan, and Peter took. See more pictures on our Flickr Page.
