Br. Todd Gloria, an alumnus of our Alpha Delta Chapter in San Diego, CA, was sworn into the California State Assembly on December 5th, 2016. In November, Gloria earned nearly 70% of the votes cast for the 78th Assembly District seat.

Todd now serves as an Assemblymember for the 78th Assembly District in California, representing the cities of Coronado, Del Mar, Imperial Beach, and Solana Beach. Br. Gloria is no stranger to the political scene. He previously served as City Council President, City Councilmember, and even Interim Mayor for the city of San Diego.

In a statement, Todd said that he is ready to get to work:

“I ran for this seat because I know that the issues that matter most to San Diegans like affordable housing, homelessness, environment, and transportation infrastructure need a champion in Sacramento,” he said. “That is exactly what I intend to be for my constituents.”
