Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I want to learn to be a better leader, and this would help prepare me for that.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: that I need to make sure I have that time off from all my jobs.

What I am most looking forward to is: enjoying time and meeting people while learning some valuable skills.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: This experience will help me to gain the necessary skills so that I can continue growing as an effective leader for my Fraternity, Chapter, and Community.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: Yesssssssss. So excited to be given the chance to be a part of this amazing opportunity. It’s a blessing. Now I need to mentally prepare myself for the cold weather!

What I am most looking forward to is: Meeting brothers from different chapters and bonding together for the entire weekend. Everyone has different perspectives, so it will be interesting to learn different things from each other as well.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy means a lot to me. DLP is a big part of my life and I think that learning from each other, and older brothers, is a great way to keep our fraternity alive and well.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: I was overjoyed when I first found out I was accepted into Delta Force. Then I started to mentally prepare for how cold it is going to be.

What I am most looking forward to is: I am looking forward to creating bonds with brothers from all over. I am most excited to learn from each other and create conversations, so that we can grow as individuals and a fraternity.

Being Accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: It would be a way for me to continue my own learning and growth, both as a student leader and a brother, and in return make me a stronger person to help my own communities.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: OHIO IN JANUARY! ABSOLUTE EXCITEMENT!

What I am most looking forward to is: Meeting other brothers from all over the continent, learning from their stories, and being inspired by their passion.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I want to be able to come back to my chapter and share the skills I learned to become a better leader! This is also important to me because I get to experience this amazing opportunity with brothers from all over the country!

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!! =D

What I am most looking forward to is: Meeting new brothers, forming bonds and new memories that will last a lifetime =)

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I want to learn how to be an agent of positive change and inspire my fellow brothers to pursue their ambitions and achieve greatness. When my brothers achieve greatness, they will become forces of positive change in their communities.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: OH MY GOD! I was very excited to be accepted. I was so happy to be given an opportunity to participate in something amazing. Traveling is also a plus.

What I am most looking forward to is: Getting to meet other brothers interested in progressing the future of the fraternity and learning how to unleash the inner leader inside of me.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: as a leader, I’d like to bring a stronger version of myself to my chapter and my community.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: “I have to call Greg!” His involvement as our chapter advisor has inspired me to become a better force, not just in my chapter but outside as well.

What I am most looking forward to is: getting to kiki with other exceptional Lambda Men and learning from one another. #LMATDT

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: Having the opportunity to spread and foster new leadership in my chapter is the greatest gift I could ever pass down to my fellow brothers, and by going to Delta Force I give myself that gift to give.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: OMG! It’s 2 AM and I got into Delta Freakin Force!!! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! *faint

What I am most looking forward to is: Bonding and freezing together with my bros! I also can’t wait to develop and grow my leadership skills with some of the fraternity’s finest!

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I want to further learn about what it means to be a leader in hopes that I can inspire others to stand up for the things that are important to them.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: Only being a colonist for one semester, I didn’t expect to be accepted. So you can bet I felt incredibly happy and fortunate that I was.

What I am most looking forward to is: I am excited to meet other brothers and make new friends while learning from their experiences.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: DLP is a family to me. It is the group that keeps me going every day, and can be my whole self around without judgement. I want to be able to develop as a leader so I can make sure that it is around for others.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: I was beyond excited. I have been wanting to participate in Delta Force since I became a brother. My involvement in my chapter has only made me want to develop more as a leader and therefore more excited to go.

What I am most looking forward to is: meeting new brothers and getting closer to the ones I already know as well as being able to get a stronger connection to the fraternity and developing more as a leader.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I believe this is a great opportunity to meet the leaders and future leaders of Delta Lambda Phi.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: I was excited to find out that I was chosen to participate in this prestigious program.

What I am most looking forward to is: I am looking forward to meeting brothers from around the country who have a passion for leading their chapters.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: Leadership is important. Leadership is an area that people can always grow in. Participating in Delta Force is a rare experience that will help in my personal and professional development, and allow me to be a better brother and leader.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: how excited I was! I kept thinking about all of the wonderful brothers I’m going to meet, and the opportunity to get to grow as a leader. My second thought was “I need warm clothes. Now.”

What I am most looking forward to is: meeting brothers from all around the country. Coming together and sharing our experiences in DLP is such an exciting prospect. I can’t wait!

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I want to see my brotherhood grow and succeed. I believe, in order to do so, I must first begin with myself. DFLA will provide me the tools to succeed as a team player and leader, ultimately helping me to proudly uphold and pass on DLP’s values.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: Oh my God, NO WAY…. YAAAAAASSSSSS! 😀

What I am most looking forward to is: Learning and putting in practice skills that iwll help me become a better leader, as well as meeting a whole new class of brothers that I hope to make lasting friendships with and seeing snow! 🙂

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: I have a passion for becoming a better leader in all aspects of my life. I look forward to spending time with brothers from different chapters.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: Excited! My big, as well as many other brothers from my chapter have attended this weekend and said that the experience was life changing. You can tell by how close they are with one another due to this experience. I can’t wait to have that.

What I am most looking forward to is: Well, I would say getting that close bond with other brothers! Along with getting better equipped to be the best leader I can be!

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: As a brother of a newly formed chapter, I want to be able to be the best leader I can be as my chapter navigates the awkward “post-chartering” phase. I also now have an indelible opportunity to teach and learn from others who share similar values.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: “I am not worthy” and “I totally forgot I had applied for this” (along with an assortment of excited four-letter expletives).

What I am most looking forward to is: Bonding! … and the prized opportunity to become a better Lambda Man. Also, I’m breaking the camping skills I haven’t used since I was 11.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: It’s a great educational opportunity for me to learn leadership skills and interpersonal skills that will benefit me not only in my fraternity, but throughout the rest of my college career as well as my future professional career as an educator.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: (After screaming loudly and scaring my roommate) I need to tell my fellow brothers the good news, & I need to send out big thanks to Morgan (the best big ever), Candace, and Mrs. Hahn for their help in being my references to achieve this opportunity.

What I am most looking forward to is: The rope obstacle course that will train my body for physical competitions on the show “Big Brother” and meeting brothers from the Western & Eastern regions that I missed out on meeting at Convention.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: The future of my colony is important. I want to use the skills learned to not only improve my professional/academic life, but also to improve the Sac State Colony and develop new leaders within my soon to be chapter.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: My first through was this will be a memorable adventure. I am excited to see how much I grow during that weekend. I am also excited to learn new perspective on difficult issues that cloud our society. 

What I am most looking forward to is: I am looking forward to growing as a person and learning new life skills.

Being accepted into the Delta Force Leadership Academy is important to me because: it will advance my knowledge in leadership and communication, allowing me to bring back some valuable skills to my chapter that will, hopefully, further expand out name throughout the university and represent us as one of the top chapters.

When I found out I was accepted, my first thought was: “I cannot wait until I get on that plane…maybe I’ll actually get to see real snow rather than Texas ice.”

What I am most looking forward to is: the bonding that I will get with other brothers from different chapters. This will allow me to see different points of view on what leadership means as well as grow in those views.
