Syracuse Colony to Become Chapter

54th Chapter Installation to take place next month.

The Board of Directors of Delta Lambda Phi has approved a petition to charter from the Syracuse University Colony, enabling them to be come the fraternity’s 54th chapter to be installed.

The new chapter will be installed and granted the designation Beta Iota at a chartering ceremony in late October.

Founded in 1986, Delta Lambda Phi National Social Fraternity is the world’s oldest and largest fraternity designed for gay, bisexual, and progressive men. An organization that deplores hazing and discrimination, it has become one of the country’s fastest growing fraternities with chapters and colonies from coast to coast. Its membership strives to provide dignified and purposeful activities for progressive men while fostering leadership and personal development, respect for others, and community service.
