Dec 2012 / Jan 2013 Centaur All-Star: Brother Devon Moule!

March 30, 2013

Please join us in congratulating Brother Devon Moule for receiving the Centaur All-Star Award for December 2012 and January 2013!

Brother Moule currently serves as Vice President of the Omega Chapter, but previously also held the position of President for the Chapter.

Br. Michael Webb, also from Omega Chapter, nominated Br. Moule with many words of praise:

Br. Devon Moule has become one of the most essential parts of not only the Omega Chapter, but also the University of Arizona community. In the past, he forged the largest service project our chapter has ever produced. It was dubbed “Project Delphi: Feeding Youth and Warming Community”. Benefitting the Eon Youth Lounge, a program of Wingspan LGBTQ Resource Center of Southern AZ, Devon organized the collaboration with 23 greek organizations, 10 residence halls, and 9 other campus organizations, including ASUA (our student government), WRC (Women’s Resource Center, and ASUA Pride Alliance (LGBTQIIA Resource Center). In total, Devon directed this operation of 42 organizations from all across campus which accumulated 1012 items; over 400 canned food items and over 550 clothing items, and over 50 hygienic supplies to donate. Most notably, this is something Devon accomplished before brotherhood, as a pledge.

Since his initiation in December 2011 with the Rho class of the Omega Chapter, Devon has gone on to take on several leadership opportunities within the chapter. In his first semester, Devon served on many committees and was a prime example of what a newly-initiated brother’s participation should look like in the operation of a chapter. Finishing his first semester, he was unquestionably elected the next president of the Omega Chapter.

During his time as President, Devon achieved many things. Distinctly, I would say his extensive leadership skill set and organization brought Omega to an even more deep, cohesive point than we have ever seen.  Under Devon’s presidency, we saw our relations with our United Sorority and Fraternity Council  improve drastically, as well as our public relations on and off campus. In my humble opinion as a past president of Omega, no individual has ever stepped into this executive position quite as inspiring and capable as Br. Devon Moule.
