“I’m Now A Brother of DLP!” – A New Brother’s Perspective

April 9, 2014

One of our Brothers from the Beta Sigma Chapter at Rutgers University recently blogged a synopsis of his journey in becoming a member of Delta Lambda Phi. In this posting, he discusses his own personal reservations, experiences, and feelings during the pledge process – eventually culminating in his acceptance into the Brotherhood.

In the blog, our new Brother writes:

Coming into Rutgers, never in a million years did I ever think I would join a fraternity. For whatever reason, I had this stereotypical image in my head that all fraternities were these hetero-normative groups of jocks like you see in the movies.  It turns out, that’s far from the truth! There are academic frats, professional frats, community service frats, and specialized social frats- like Delta Lambda Phi!

Welcome to the Brotherhood! It’s a lifelong journey you’ll never regret!
