Community Service
Brothers of Delta Lambda Phi are committed to making their presence make a difference, including in their communities! Across the hemisphere, our Brothers are logging thousands of community service hours to give back in countless ways.

Just one of our twenty-six Chapters, the Alpha Rho Chapter at Penn State, raises money to help kids with cancer for THON, the largest college student philanthropy service in the United States. Brothers at Alpha Rho have also hosted safe-sex seminars, volunteered at the Penn State LGBT Student Resource Center and sold “It Gets Better” bracelets to benefit the It Gets Better Project.
Even our Colonists work hard to give back to their communities! The Boston University Colony logs countless hours of service at the Greater Boston Food Bank, Rosie’s Place, and Fenway Health, where they answer a hotline for LGBT individuals.
These were just a few of the ways our Brothers show their commitment to service and making their presence make a difference in everything they do!
