Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

The marketing coordinator will assist the marketing director in the execution of various marketing initiatives related to e-commerce, member recruitment, campus expansion, development and member events like convention. The coordinator will carry out marketing briefs for campaigns and projects for various stakeholders across the fraternity. Often working to short deadlines, the coordinator must be skilled at prioritizing multiple tasks while ensuring deliverables are made to a high standard and reinforce the fraternity’s mission, vision and values.


Essential Job Functions

  • Working with the marketing director, execute the organization’s marketing strategy that includes events, e-commerce, member recruitment, campus expansion and development

  • Support marketing and sales efforts for the fraternity’s online store

  • Assist with the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing resources for a variety of purposes including member recruitment and campus expansion

  • Carry out marketing briefs for fraternity events, including convention, conferences and alumni events

  • Regularly monitor and report the performance of marketing campaigns to evaluate their impact

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working on marketing campaigns and projects for an organization

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly communicate ideas

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a remote, asynchronous setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with graphic design and using design software such as Canva

  • Experience creating content for various social media platforms

  • Experience creating content for email marketing

Reports to

  • Marketing Director

Supervises

  • Marketing interns

Time Commitment

  • Less than 5 hours per week on average
