Job Summary
The website coordinator will assist the digital media director in managing the fraternity’s website, DLP.org, from a marketing and communications approach. The coordinator will ensure accurate and properly branded content across DLP.org, including our e-commerce and event sites. This will include updating and creating new content for the website, ensuring the website functions properly, designing content that adheres to DLP’s brand guidelines and maintaining a positive user experience for all website visitors.
Essential Job Functions
Update and create new content consistent with DLP’s brand guidelines and UI/UX principles
Identify ways to improve user experience
Respond to and troubleshoot website issues
Create, maintain and execute a website maintenance plan
Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of website content to evaluate its impact and make data-driven decisions
Required Qualifications
Experience managing websites for a professional organization
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a remote, asynchronous setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and managing websites in the Wix content management system (CMS)
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Basic understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles
Experience working with search engine optimization (SEO) and website analytics
